MyMediaMatters Webmail offers users affordable, ad-free webmail service for both commercial and personal use. We do not offer support, either on the phone or in person, for any third party email clients, aside from providing set up guides. If you have any issues with Outlook, Thunderbird, Windows mail, Mac mail or any other device-based mail software, you must contact a computer tech support provider.
Why is webmail better to use? With webmail, you read and send email through your web browser and a web-based interface. In fact, webmail allows you to access your email from any web browser, on any device, as long as you are connected to the Internet. When you access your domain emails via a webmail interface, you will open your web browser and type in the address of your webmail login panel. Your emails are sent directly to and from your web-based mail server, and you can prevent 99% of connection problems by using webmail. All MyMediaMatters Webmail can access the webmail portal by typing in mail.hostedemail.com.
Third Party Email Services can cause repeated issues
Email client is a desktop application that enables configuring one or more email addresses to receive, read, compose and send emails from that email address(s) through the desktop/phone/tablet interface. It provides a central interface for receiving, composing and sending emails of configured email address(s). Email client softwares are specific to the device, and must be configured with the mail server information - email clients are subject to issues if your device updates software, or if any of your device settings change. We do not recommend using any third party email services.
